This workshop contains a variety of quick tips and tricks in Microsoft Word that will save you hours of time! Topics covered include tips for selecting text, using the Format Painter, working with tabs and indents, wrapping text around pictures, using AutoCorrect and AutoText, turning on or off automatic formatting, and options for viewing your document. The workshop will also cover using styles to create a table of contents and to navigate long documents in the Navigation Pane. You’ll learn how to troubleshoot common Word problems with numbered lists and paragraph spacing, and how to work faster by reusing text with Quick Parts and Quick Tables. You’ll learn how to create a template and how to add section breaks, page numbers, and multiple headers and footers to long documents. A set of handy keyboard shortcuts will also be included in the workshop.
This 2 hour class is being taught by Manny White, director of training at Pioneer Training, a computer training company providing businesses and educational institutions in the Pioneer Valley computer training, programming, and software services since 1990. Manny has been teaching computer classes since 1994, is a certified Microsoft Word expert, and was a technical reviewer for the Microsoft Office 2000 and 2003 Inside/Out books.
