This course will prepare you for the ServSafe® Food Manager exam which will take place at the end of the second class. If you have been previously certified, you may choose to attend only the second Saturday at a lower cost. With a passing grade you will receive the ServSafe® Certification in Food Safety. This certification is nationally recognized and accredited by the National Restaurant Association.
This course is being taught by Chef Nelson Lacey, head of Smith Vocational High School’s Culinary Arts Department. Classes meet for two four hour sessions on Saturday mornings.
