Explore the fundamentals of machining, such as drilling, milling, turning, and more. Learn these new skills through 6 classes of demonstrations and “hands-on” experience. This is a great course for beginners. Students will work on a tool to take home with them. The project will be manufactured utilizing lathes, milling machines, and various hand tools. Throughout the workshop, students will be introduced to the world of CNC and CADCAM software. Safety is number one – safety glasses must be worn at all times and hard soled shoes; steel toes are recommended.
